I hope that everyone had a really great weekend to celebrate the 4th of July!! I was thrilled to spend Saturday with my closest friends!! I was seriously needing to get out of my place with all the boxes. Some family friends of Coleman were having a BBQ and it was fabulous!
I can't believe I haven't blogged about my friend Coleman before this!!!
Coleman is one of my closest friends. We met during our freshman year of college through his roommate. We've been close friends ever since!!!

We spent the entire day in the pool! It was SOOOOOO hot outside in this Texas heat. While we were in the pool we decided to play some water volley ball. So we broke into two teams, the old folks (all the parents that were there) and us!! Well.....the old folks KICKED OUR ASS!?!! We got killed!! It was hilarious.
Since we were in the 'burbs there were really no fireworks to go see, but you can betcha we had some POPPERS!!! They were very fun!!
After the BBQ and poppers we went back to Coleman's house to watch some True Blood (I'd never seen an episode, it's really good!!!), wine and SMORES!!!
They were amazing! It was such a great time and I can't wait to hang with my boys more as the summer goes on!
Right now I'm packing to head to the Show Stoppers Finals in Galveston!!! It's been so weird not working for 5 weeks so I can't wait to get back to work for a week. It will be great to see everyone!!! Especially my BF Heather!!
(Did I mention that Cubs Game Date/Wedding Date will be there too??? LOVE IT!)
